New Technology Has Taken the Fear Out of the Hair Salon Visit

When they were first conceived straighteners were big bulky items that used to burn out and cause horrible pain and suffering to women, as well as many house fires but nowadays straighteners are no longer about just straightening hair they are all about styling your hair as well. Elaborate styles such as waves, curls, adding volume, movement and definition are all now possible. In the early days this was not the case though and it has taken a significant amount of marketing money and branding for companies that produce hair straighteners to pitch their professional hairdressing tool as a tool that the everyday joe can use.

Before the introduction of today's age of hair straighteners, having your hair styled in a hair salon was a torturous affair and met with much trepidation by women who used to go. The irons the hairdressers used would often lead to burnt heads, discomfort and stiff necks from sitting still under the heaters for 45 minutes and so a change was needed.

There is a lot more training nowadays to prevent this kind of problem, stylists can understand their styling hair tool better as well as their clients needs and qualify at a specific academy. The aim of this is for hair stylists to share their ideas with each other and improve upon their general skill base.

Whilst the age of the old hair irons is gone the new age of comfort and great hair is only just beginning, many women are now enjoying going back to the hair salon and feel truly pampered with the way that the ceramic plates on the irons not only help with their hair but also them not getting hurt in the process!
